Practice standards
Our practice strives to provide the highest standard of care to all our patients.
We are fully compliant with current guidelines for cross infection we use an ultrasonic bath and vacuum autoclave to sterilize dental instruments, we employ instrument tracking and we use single use instruments for those items that cannot be sterilized.
Our practice has recently passed an inspection from a local radiation inspector and is fully registered with the radiation protection institute of Ireland (RPII) and environmental agency.
Equipment
Our practice is fully computerised and complies with the data protection office (Ireland).
We use digital Xrays which reduce the dosage you are exposed to. We also have a digital OPG xray machine and use digital photography in case assessments.
The practice has been recently refurbished and we have a continual audit in place of practice standards and outcomes.
Practice Training
All our staff have a stong commitment for ongoing continual professional development (CPD).
Each team member is fully registered with the Irish dental council and complies with the guidance given on maintenance of standards.
All our staff are trained in CPR and first aid.
Patient Referrals
We do accept referrals from other dentists for restorative and implant tretament.
All treatments available within our practice carried out by either Noel or Frances.
In certain situations a referral may be needed for a specialist colleague we have a close network of highly qualified specialists that we can use if this required.
